A237, with Works published by Shaw & Sons and "Poor Laws" at left advertisement (Specialised MA 477g) and with additional red "(Pointing Finger) To Postmasters, just published, and now in general use, a book for the Entry of money Post Office orders issued, and Money Post Office orders paid; strongly half bound...." advertisement on the front, dated 8 July 1841 and used to Wareham, black Maltese Cross cancellation, dated markings on reverse; clean filing folds. Fine and rare. Believed to be one of only two recorded examples of the very rare advertisement (the other known example, seemingly addressed in the same hand is ex Klempka and Grunin, Spink Dec. 7 2022). Photo
