c.1900s, five vignettes cut from publication and mounted within frame (320x530mm.), each vignette is numbered and depicts the progress of the post: "Waiting for the Start" shows the horses being readied outside the 'Falcon Inn', "Picking up the Mails" depicting the mail coach approaching an anonymous Post Office, "Fairly off" showing the mail coach setting off with passengers, "Stopping-place." which shows a break taking place outside 'Half Way House', "The Last Few Miles.", a large vignette which shows, in more detail, the mail coach, drivers and passengers, the coach marked "John Horne, Brighton, Portsmouth". Charming.
