1843 (21 Jan. and 8 Dec.), two entire letters ex the same correspondence, registered from London to Balley, near Doncaster, both bearing clear margined 1841-53 1d. red (first just touching at upper right), tied by black Maltese Crosses, the first endorsed "55 Registered", the latter "243 Registered", both with charge mark "1/-" and corresponding London "paid" d.s. A fine and scarce duo.
