1822 (22 April) entire sent registered from Regensburg in Germany, to London via Holland, the face struck with "regensburg/apr 1822" in black, "recommandirt", "Charge" in black and red "registered/crown" struck over black "franco" with endorsed "recommande"; the reverse, refolded to show at face, struck with red boxed "Duitsch-Grensk:/te/Arnhem" and two London F.P.O. 03.05.22 d.s., charged at 5/-. A rare early registered letter.
