1800 (14 Aug.) entire letter from Quebec per the 'Albion' to Greenock, rated "11" (4d. ship, 2d. captain and 5d. inland); the reverse struck with superb "cambleton/ship:lre" and "camble/town.". Very fine and rare, Robertson notes this as the first Scottish type of named ship-letter.
