1864-1904 mainly mint Hope seated collection written up on Frank Godden album pages including 1864-77 shades with 1d. (4), 6d. (4) and 1/- (2), 1871-76 CC set to 1/- including ½d. (2), 1d. (2) and 4d. (3), 1874-76 1d. on 1/- green (3), 1879 3d. on 4d. mint (2) and used (2, including one variety 'the.ee' for 'three', 1880 (Feb.) 3d. on 3d. mint and used, 1880 (Aug.) '3' on 3d. mint (2) and used (6), 1881 3d. pale claret mint (2) and used (2), 1882-83 CA part set to 6d., 1882 CA ½d. on 3d. deep claret mint (2) and used (3), 1884-90 set of twenty-one to 5/- with shades, also blocks of four of ½d. (4), 1d. (2), 2d. (2), 4d. and 6d. (3) in varying shades and 4d. upper-right corner plate '3' block of sixteen, 1891 2½d. om 3d. blocks of four and ten and some varieties, 1892 2½d. sage green (12, including a block of four), 1893 1d. on 2d. group including aun upper-right corner block of thirty-six with plate '2', blocks of four (2) and single examples with varieties including no stop after 'penny' (2, shades) etc., 1893-1902 ½d., 1d. (3) and 3d. (2) blocks of four, 1893-98 ½d. to 5/- group of twenty with shades including 1/- green (2), 1/- ochre (3) and 5/- orange (2), 1900 1d. carmine including an imperforate proof block of four and blocks of four (3) and eight as issued, 1902-04 ½d. to 5/- group of twenty-three with a range of shades including 4d. (3), 6d. (2), 1/- (3) and 5/- (3), also a range from ½d. to 6d. all with upper marginal plate numbers (11); a good to fine specialised group. Cat value in excess of £8,500
