1932 (20 Jan.) envelope registered from Tsessebe to Salcombe, Devon bearing 5/- rose-carmine horizontal pair, tied by eight strikes of the single circle d.s., showing manuscript registration number '3796' in pencil; the original plane 'Springbok' crashed on leaving Salisbury, the relief plane 'City of Delhi' met a similar fate near Broken Hill; the cover eventually reached London on the second flight onboard 'City of Baghdad'; a fine and rare crash cover.
