1950 (c.) brown paper, handmade envelope registered bearing, on the reverse, 2tr. bright orange with ½tr. lemon tied by smudged Shigatse postmark which has been placed to obscure the value on the ½tr., the manuscript registration is on the address side. An interesting postal fraud cover attempting to pass the ½tr. off as 2tr. yellow. Also 1952 (Apr.) India 2a. stationery envelope to Kalimpong bearing, on the reverse, ½tr. lemon with 2tr. bright orange tied by Lhasa postmark with Kalimpong arrival alongside (21.4), another 2½tr. franking.
