1942-45 (c.) two registered covers bearing single 4tr. frankings with envelope to Lhasa bearing, on the reverse, 4tr. bright yellow-green tied by Gyantse type 2 postmark, with five wax seals and printed "deliver to merchant at upper Chusing Shar, Lhaden" and with hand-drawn identification mark of the sender; an opened-out envelope registered to Lhasa bearing, on the reverse, 4tr. sage-green tied by a good strike of Phari postmark; addressed in Nepalese and Tibetan, this letter was sent from Gyan Vir Singh, bearing his trader's mark and with manuscript registration mark at top.
