1950 (c.) native envelope registered bearing, on the reverse, 1 sang dull emerald horizontal pair tied by Gyantse type 2 postmark and with three red wax seals, the address side with manuscript registration markings. The envelope had been partly made from an old envelope and the inside bears 4tr. yellow-green cancelled by Lhasa postmark and with large, quartered circle examiner's mark. Scarce and an unusual high franking. Photo
