1915 (Aug.) handmade paper envelope addressed in Tibetan bearing, on the reverse, the set of five values in some of the earlier shades, tied by the large Lhasa type II postmark in blue, alongside India K.G.V ½a. green tied by "gyantse tibet/siliguri base" type B1 c.d.s. (12.8), the address side with a very fine strike of Lhasa intaglio type I postmark in dark blue. The cover has suffered some tone spotting and creasing but this does not seriously detract from this rather splendid cover. Dated examples of this large postmark are scarce. Photo
