1911 (13 Sept.) Stursberg envelope double registered to Peking "Via Chengtu" bearing 12a. on 50c. well tied by a fine strike of Lhasa Dollar dater type C4 with fine strikes of the registered handstamp and large "AR" in double-circle, Chinese transit c.d.s. on the reverse with Batang (4.10), Tatsienlu, Yachow and Peking arrival (13.2). A good cover carried on the Tibet - Szechuan overland route, it is thought that there are less than ten covers carried on this route, all from the same correspondence. Photo
