1948-49 two underpaid covers with 1948 (21 Mar.) envelope to Kalimpong bearing, on the reverse Tibet 1933 1tr. pale scarlet-vermilion pair tied by an unreadable strike of a type 2 postmark with India K.G.VI ½a. tied by Pharijong type B4 c.d.s. with octagonal "kalimpong/unpaid" datestamp (24.3), the address side with a fine strike of horseshoe "pharijong f.p.o. no.81/due/ as." with manuscript "-/2/-" added in blue crayon. A clean cover. Also 1949 (5 Mar.) envelope to Nepal bearing, on the reverse, India K.G.VI 3p. (3) and ½a. tied by Pharijong Darjeeling machine postmark with large Katmandu exchange handstamp in the corner, the address side with a fine strike of the same Pharijong horseshoe tax handstamp.
