Incoming Mail: 1938 (20 Feb.) G.B. K.G.V 1½d. postal stationery envelope cancelled by Newport Monmouthshire machine postmark, addressed to A. Phillips, G.P.O. Tibet, there is an air mail cachet, boxed "retour" and unframed, "Undelivered for reasons stated/ to be returned to sender/at the address shown on cover" struck in deep carmine, the reverse with a good strike of Gyantse type B5 c.d.s. (13.3), four Bombay square D.L.O. datestamps (17.3 - 22.4) with boxed "inconnu/not known"; some manuscript notation including "No such person in Tibet". Peter Holcombe pencil note at foot
