1908 (3 Mar.) envelope registered to Dr Sven Hedin in Calcutta bearing Sweden 20ö. and 25ö. tied by Stockholm c.d.s. with Stockholm registration label and boxed Sea Post Office boxed registration handstamp (16.3), the reverse bearing Calcutta (23.3) and Viceroy's Camp P.O. (23.5) c.d.s. Also 1906 (20 Jan.) opened-out blue envelope from France to Doctor Sven Hedin Explorer, British Baluchistan "Via Quetta" bearing, on the reverse, France 25c. franking tied by Paris c.d.s., Quetta (12.2) and faint arrival c.d.s. A good pair of covers from each end of his expedition. (2 covers)
