1845 (c.) seventh Panchen Lama shirt letter/wrapper bearing a fine strike of the Panchen Lama's 35mm square Seal of Heaven and Earth (Dawson 26) and, on the exterior, his small seal. The contents from the Regent in Lhasa to the King of Nepal regards the presentation of horses. The Panchen Lama acted as Regent between 18th September 1844 to 31st May 1845. A scarce letter from this short period. A few holes, not affecting the seal or the message. Photo
