Henry VIII (1509-1547), Second Coinage, Groats, 1526-1544, Tower (4), crowned bust D right, rev. saltire stops, square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 2.58g, 11h, m.m. rose; others, similar, m.m. lys (2), as before, 2.50g, 7h; 2.07g, 10h; and, 2.56g, 11h, m.m. arrow (North 1797; S.2337E), all lightly clipped, one slightly porous, otherwise generally fine or better; also, Halfgroats (2), Tower, similar, 1.23g, 10h, m.m. rose (North 1802; S.2343), toned on a neat round flan, about very fine; another, Canterbury, Archbishop Warham, similar albeit shield dividing W-A, 0.96g, 1h (North 1802; S.2343), heavily clipped with areas of colourful tone, fair; lastly, 'Sovereign' Type, Penny, 1526-1529, Durham, Bishop Wolsey, King enthroned facing, flanked by pillars of chair, rev. square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, T-W besides, hat below, 0.621g, 9h, m.m. star (North 1811; S.2352), clipped and rubbed, about good (7)
