Provenance

The John Noel Simpson Collection of English, Irish and Hiberno-Norse Coins

Attributed by Aquilla Smith to 1646 but the absence of a date and the more ornate type to the 1646 farthings suggest to this cataloguer that it may be slightly later, possibly contemporary with the Kinsale issue of 1653.
