With ticket, purchased £100

As with established custom on English Groat issues of the 15th Century, the letter on breast is of evident significance to numismatists in typological sequencing. The G almost certainly relates to Mintmaster, Germyn Lynche, the Mintmaster, who was indicted for striking Drogheda Groats at inferior weight standards in 1472.
