1887 Orange "Medallion" Official stamp on a rare official registered cover dated August 16, 1887 from Tepic to Mexico City, displaying colorful transit markings. These stamps, whose color changed approximately every year, were free-franking labels given to certain official entities and are very scarce on cover, let alone registered. Scott O3.
