1872 "Hidalgos"
Oaxaca group of 35 imperforate stamps, mostly used, along with a 25c. Red cover, neatly mounted on presentation pages (consignment #30), with different consignment years 1872-74 each in a row, with no duplication.. The collection includes denominations from 6c. to 100c., as well as four stamps with the "Papel Sellado" watermark. Many stamps feature cancellations from Oaxaca and its small towns, including Tehuantepec, Ejutla, Teotitlán, Huajuápam, Jamiltpec, Juchitán, Tututepec, Pinotepa, and others. Additionally, there are two attractive unused blocks of four: one of 6c. Green and one of 12c. Blue. The condition is generally good throughout, with many stamps having three or four clear margins.
