Saltillo ½r. Blue block of four on complete folded letter from Viezca to Durango, with large to jumbo margins all around and a framed datestamp (February 12, 1857). The block is not tied, but the datestamp on the cover confirms that this fresh and attractive multiple belongs to it. Vertical cover folds not affecting the stamps. Although 3,677 stamps were issued in this district, they are fairly scarce, let alone on such a beautiful block. Scott 1; NF $400 as singles off cover.,
