Mexico District, Texcoco ½r. Blue, group of three covers: The first two have the Mexico district overprint, one addressed to Veracruz (April 10th 1861) bearing a strip of four tied by c.d.s.'s, with three close to good margins; the other is a colorful cover franked at 1½ real first rate (in combination with 1r.) on the reverse of a price list sent to Sayula. The third is an entire letter with a pair cut into at bottom left, dated April 29, 1861 (nine days after the issue was demonetized), the MEPSI cert states "no apparent overprints". It looks aged and has stains but it is scarce. Scott 1, 1b, 2.
