Cuernavaca 8r. Lilac, cut into at top and right, tied to aged cover (tear) from Mexico City to Puebla dated June 1st, 1859. One tear at top of the stamp is to be expected, as this was previously cancelled. A rare postal fraud, as 8r. are scarce on cover. . 2025 MEPSI certificate. Scott 5; NF $850 off-cover.
