Stampless Mail- Sello Negro Post 1856
Mérida, Toluca Two stampless judicial fronts, dated October 11, 1868, and October 18, 1877, both bearing peripheral decorative mute handstamps denoting registered correspondence. Another rare example of registered mail, in which the front was retained for two years with the addressee’s signature as proof of delivery (a practice in place from the Colonial era until 1882).
