1870 (4 Apr.) envelope from from Buxton to Berbice, bearing 1866 perf 10 12c. grey-lilac trisected horizontally tied by "b. g./e 3 c" c.d.s., a further strike and Berbice datestamps on reverse; the envelope damaged at top through opening with addressee excised, missing back flap and other faults. Extremely rare with only a handful of recorded examples. Photo
