1856 Provisionals Type-set and printed on surface-coloured paper at the Official Gazette, Georgetown
4c. black on magenta or rose-carmine
4c. black and magenta, initialled "E.D.W.", apparently unused, cut square with three good margins, slightly cut into at right, lightly creased and a couple of pin holes. As far as we can see, there are no visible cancellation marks, and the stamp remains remarkably fresh with a fine appearance, these being characteristics rarely found in used condition. Fewer than ten unused examples are recorded in private hands. S.G. 24, £100,000. Photo
