1c. black on magenta, Type II, good to very large margins on three sides, barely touching frameline at lower right, neatly cancelled by Demerara double-arc d.s. for Sep. 2 1852. Few usual faults including surface disturbances and a small paper inclusion in centre, nevertheless a great-looking example. Köhler handstamp on the reverse, Holcombe photo-opinion. S.G. 9, £6,500.
