A Unique Combination Piece
1859 (24 May) piece of a blue envelope bearing 1853-55 4c. blue, good to large margins, cancelled by Demerara c.d.s., in combination with Great Britain 1856 6d. lilac cancelled by "A03" obliterator (both are tied), showing red London Paid c.d.s. (16.6). An archival fold through both adhesives not detracting the importance of this piece. Only this piece and the cover offered in the previous lot are recorded bearing this franking.
