1901 preparatory proofs for K.E.VII £1 value with the essay for the lettering "army/telegraphs" in Indian ink on tracing paper and dated "March 19 1901"; cut-down die proof of the lettering in black on glazed card and a die proof (40x46mm) of the K.E.VII unappropriated die for the £1 value. A magnificent and very important group as the were no K.E.VII Army Telegraph stamps. Believed to be unique. Photo
