1885 (27 Apr.) opened-out long envelope to Hon. Mrs Methuen, Wellington, the address side marked "Stamps on other side" and bearing, on the reverse, Cape 1d. (6) tied by Barkly c.d.s. with Cape Town (29.4), Taunton and Wellington (19.5) c.d.s., there is a further Barkly c.d.s. on the address side along with manuscript "over ½oz", handstruck "Insufficiently Paid" and large manuscript "6d" in black ink; some peripheral faults.
