(x) NGC AU53 | Tibet, Hsuan-t'ung (1909-1912), 1-Srang, 1st Year (1909), shon thong (upper trapezium)/ khri (trapezium to the left)/ lo 1 (trapezium to the right)/ srang gang (lower trapezium), "One Srang of the first year of Xuan Tong", the eight auspicious Buddhist emblems (Tibetan bkra shis rtag brgyad) placed around the central square, rev. legend placed inside eight lotus petals: dga' ldan pho brang phyo(gs) las rnam rgyal ("the Ganden Palace victorious in all directions"), edge milled (L&M 657; KM Y9), partly weakly struck and with some bruising to edges, otherwise better to reverse, good very fine or better, in NGC holder, graded AU53 (Cert. #8239392-009)
