Dupré, draped bust left, with lace collar, legend in retrograde around, 101mm, 107.96g (Jones 59; Mazerolle 696; Kress 568), pierced, two minor casting holes near base, ink marked 'S.597' to reverse', a pleasingly well-struck up old cast, good very fine

Lady Charlotte Schreiber was an important figure in the study of Welsh literature and the Welsh language, as well as being a keen collector of ceramics; her collection is now in the Victoria and Albert Museum.
