Charles I (1625-1649), Half-Unite or Double-Crown, 1626, Group B/A Mule, Tower, smaller second crown bust left, wearing stiff ruff, rev. crowned square-topped shield with plain garnishing, 4.38g [67.59grns], 5h, m.m. cross calvary (Schneider 176/175; Brooker 133/132; North 2160/2159; S.2699/2698), clipped and with metal flawing to field, otherwise brighter with a hint of residual and colourful tone in reverse recesses, about fine, the reverse bolder, the mule very rare
