ELIZABETH : D : G : ANG : FR .' ET HI REGINA, beaded inner circles, St. Michael vanquishing Dragon, rev. A:DNO FACTVM : EST ISTVD : ET : EST : MIRA, colon stops, ship surmounted by square-topped shield and crucifix mast dividing E and Rose, twisted rigging 2/1, with bowsprit, waves lapping below, 2.56g [39.50grns], 8h, m.m. eglantine (Schneider I, 771; AHH Virtual 100; Brown & Comber D7; North 1992/1; S.2517), pierced at reverse 12 o'clock and carefully plugged, and once lightly gilt, otherwise with residual orange tone and attractively bold and uniform, struck details approaching extremely fine, scarce thus
