ILLORVM : BAT, trefoil stops, rose-atop radiant sun over floriated cross, crowns and leopards in angles, small fleurs in spandrels, 7.56g [116.66grns], 3h, i.m. long cross fitchée (Schneider I, 374-380; North 1549; S.1951), slightly short of flan, and edges made round with resulting softness to peripheries, yet bolder to crashing waves below, very fine or better
