Charles I (1625-1649), Group G, Type 4.6, Shilling, 1646-1648, Tower (under Parliament), seventh crowned and draped shorter broad bust left, value behind, rev. square-topped shield over cross moline, 5.43g [83.79grns], 8h, m.m. sceptre (Brooker 567; North 2234; S.2804), struck on an irregular flan with typical breaks at 12 and 6 o'clock, otherwise richer oning with visible die striations in reverse fields, very fine, the scarce final issue
