PER * CRVCE '* TVA '* SALVA * nOS * XPE * RED, ship surmounted by square-topped shield and mast dividing h and rose, rosette stops, 5.07g [78.2grns], 5h, m.m. pansy (Schneider I, -; North 1696; S.2183), partially clipped and struck from very lightly rusted dies, some scratches to left of otherwise well struck St Michael, with honest obverse surfaces, good very fine
