SCVTAM • FIDEI • PROTEG EAM, inverted V in SCVTVM, pellet stops, crowned shield of arms, dividing E-R, 1.401g [21.62grns], 11h, m.m. cross crosslet (AHH Virtual 148 this coin; Brown & Comber J4; cf. Schneider I, 753, North 1984; S.2524), a delightful cabinet specimen with hints of natural honey-golden tone cloaking lustrous original surfaces, a really good very fine / extremely fine, rare thus and with an esteemed pedigree, in NGC Black 'Carrington' holder, graded AU55 (Cert. #8536700-008)
