RE, lozenge stops, crowned and garnished oval shield, 1.470g [22.70grns], 4h, m.m. -/y (Schneider I, -; Norweb 340 this coin; Stewartby 1; North 1915; S.2443), crimped and with resulting flatness to portrait, otherwise a delightfully natural and honest example, with wholesome cabinet tone and lustre to recesses, the centres only scarcely fair, the peripheries very fine, extremely rare, in NGC Black 'Carrington' holder, graded VF35 (Cert. #8534368-002)
