V, 12 same dies; Brooke, Pl. XXXVIII, 5; Lockett 1855 = Norweb 337 this coin; North 1892; S.2429), hairline flan split at 11 o'clock, otherwise a spectacular example of this notoriously difficult series, handsomely toned and uniformly bold for strike on a carefully prepared and neat round flan, a truly excellent very fine, a true connoisseur's cabinet piece, in NGC Black 'Carrington' holder, graded Almost Uncirculated (Cert. #8534369-018)
