IBAT, crowned shield with lion and griffin supporters, E below, HR in exergue, 6.057g [93.474grns], 7h (Brooke II; VJE Ryan 144; Schneider I, - [cf. 621]; North 1828; S.2297), light wave through flan, with typical softness of strike to peripheries, otherwise of excellent metal and the key devices superbly bold, especially so to the iconic 'Holbeinesque' portrait so oft obliterated on this type, a really good very fine for issue, the colourful cabinet tone superbly accentuating the finest details, in NGC Black 'Carrington' holder, harshly graded XF45 (Cert. #8534367-013)
