(m.m.) TALI : DICA : SIGnO : MES 'x FLVCTVARI : nEQVIT ', St George lancing Dragon, 4.601g [71.004grns], 6h, m.m. rose (Murdoch I, 415 = Hird 32 same dies; Schneider I, 576; North 1785; BM E.38 same dies; S.2270), a wisp of crimping to otherwise attractively uniform and well-struck devices, a most pleasing and bold very fine example of this unique Henrician numismatic 'beatus', only three examples known to this cataloguer from this die pairing including the record-setting Hird specimen sold in these rooms in September 2021
