(m.m.) : IhESVS : AVTEM : TRAnSIEnS : PER : MEDIVM : ILLORVM : IBAT : x : double saltire stops, Royal shield on Tudor rose, all in tressure of ten arches, leopards and lys in alternate arches, 15.250g [235.34grns], 2h, m.m. lys/dragon (Schneider I, 550; North 1692/1; S.2175), edges made round, with moderate rub to otherwise uniformly struck devices, technically bolder than fine and very rare, in NGC Black 'Carrington' holder, generously graded VF25 (Cert. #8534362-006)
