GRA ' REX ANGL Z FR, trefoil stops, E above Royal Shield in double tressure of eight arches, dividing rose and sun,all inside quatrefoil, trefoils in spandrels, rev. (m.m.) EXALTABITVR . IN . GLORIA, large trefoil stops, quatrefoil after GLORIA, floriate cross, leopards in angles, expanding sun at centre, all in double-octofoil, cusps and spandrels plain, 1.862g [28.68grns], 6h, m.m. lys (B&W 17; North 1560; S.1965), subtly creased and lightly clipped, otherwise uniformly struck up for this surprisingly scarce issue, with a soft cabinet tone, very fine or marginally bolder, in NGC Black 'Carrington' holder, graded Almost Uncirculated (Cert. #8534366-018)
