(g) Victoria (1837-1901), 'Golden Jubilee' Proof Five-Pounds, 1887, by J. E. Boehm and Benedetto Pistrucci, crowned 'Jubilee' bust left, J.E.B. in relief on truncation, rev. St George and Dragon, small B.P. in field, edge milled, 39.58g, 12h (EGC II, 1308; L&S 72; Marsh F31; W&R 285; S.3864), hairlined and pinmarked to fields, evidence of a previous acid test before neck and behind veil, thus with subsequent smoothing and brushmarks to such areas, nonetheless with a handsome cameo definition and mint-brilliance to fields, extremely fine, one of only 797 issued and immensely sought after in commerce
