(g) George IV (1820-1830), 'Chantrey's' Sovereign, 1829, Type 2, bare head left, rev. crowned garnished shield, edge milled, 7.89g, 6h (Marsh 14; MCE 480; EGC II, 973; Bentley 22; S.3801), wispy hairlines before the bust, some minor contact marks and a touch of softness to hair, yet with a residual lustre to the legends, more so to reverse, very fine, reverse better
