ADIVTOREM • MEVM, long cross fourchée over smaller square shield, 5.88g [90.74grns], 5h, m.m. lys (Brown & Comber 1A; North 1985; S.2549 var.), the better of only two traced specimens with bust 1A with beaded circles, slightly double struck on bust, beautifully toned with blue and purple hues, extremely rare, good very fine

From Spink 2005 catalogue: "This very distinctive large bust, with beaded straps to the dress, bust 1A, is known for the first issue, m.m. lis, with wireline inner circles, (S.2548), and for the second issue, m.m. cross crosslet, with beaded inner circles, (S.2555A). This coin provides the missing link, the first issue, m.m. lis, with wire line and beaded inner circles, (S.2549), and does not appear to be published."
