ET · EST .· MIRA'· IN : OCVL'· NRIS, ET over Z, Royal arms in centre of full-blown Tudor Rose, spandrels plain, 14.970g [231.02grns], 6h, m.m. cross crosslet [over lys on reverse] (Dudman 70 same dies; Raynes 115 same dies; Lockett 1949 = Hird I, 29 = AHH Virtual 64, same dies; Brown & Comber A4; Holloway 04-03A [10 Known]; Schneider I, 730 same dies; North 1978; S.2512), a striking crack through N of REGINA running parallel down the outer left pillar and subsequently lightly filled at rim, otherwise subtly crimped across honey-golden original fields, the centres bolder than fine, the peripheries very fine, a prized rarity with only ten recorded specimens, in NGC Black 'Pallas' holder, graded Very Fine (Cert. #8534311-001)
