Mary, Solus (1553-1554), Groat, Tower, crowned bust left, wearing simply-jewelled plain bodice and pearl necklace, rev. square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 1.84g [28.44grns], 6h, m.m. pomegranate (North 1960; S.2492), chipped to flan at 6 o'clock and to R in legend, hairline scratches to reverse, doubling to the portrait, nonetheless a uniform strike, with toning within legends, strict very fine
